Welcome to Jaguars Unlimited. If you are reading this we
already have a lot in common, our love of Jaguars. Let me introduce myself.
My name is Dave Schaid and I am the sole proprietor of Jaguars Unlimited.
Starting in 1977 servicing British cars was a dream of mine from the beginning. I especially enjoyed the British cars because, well lets face it, they broke down a lot. There were not a lot of independent mechanics very familiar with the solutions to their "special character flaws". I made it a point to learn these cars inside and out. We were known as the "Go To" shop with issues no one else wanted to tackle or were stumped on. This gave us tons of work and volumes of education on these cars.
I have maintained hundreds of Jaguars over the years and have always had the itch to find the solutions to their character flaws. I started with a totally disassembled parts car and built an Series I E-Type Coupe. It is now beautiful, reliable, faster, and handles like you could only dream of in the past. There wouldn't have been a "Dead Mans Curve" had they utilized the suspension and front-end design I have put together. Of course with advanced technology now we have many more possibilities.
That jaguar was the birth of Jaguars Unlimited. A separate wing of our building with (4) bays designated to restoring and re-creating the Classic Jaguar. We have created several beautiful automobiles for clients all across the globe. Specifically for the purpose of their driving pleasure and also for the well known Jaguar car shows (drivers class as well as concourse events). We have even had the pleasure of being a part of, for one of our clients, his winning the blue ribbon at Meadow Brook.
So please, take your time, and get acquainted with all the fun and exciting possibilities in our website. In the "Tech Shop" for instance, we have information on what we do and explanations on why we do it with photo illustrations. There are many other areas to explore, as you will see.
