XKE I:

No need to fool around with the best. 3-2" S.U. carbs absolutely work the best. Whether you have a 3.8L or a 4.2L you have a great starting point. We start with your carbs, and then we rework them to perform with your engine modifications. We clean, blast, polish and plate. Then re-jet to accommodate even the highest performance engines. Don't let anyone talk you out of your carbs, you already have the best.

XKE II:

Unlike the XKE I, the XKE II was fitted with the Stromberg 1 ¾" carburetor. Back in the early days of EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), this carburetor was designed to cure some emission related problems. This medium to poor performer, although can be rebuilt to perform adequately, is robbing your engine of the performance it was designed to have. We can redesign your intake manifold to fit 2 - 1 ¾" S.U. carbs or 2-2" S.U. carbs. Also, we offer the popular conversion to 3-2" S.U. carbs maximizing the engines potential. In this case we would replace the intake manifold as well as the carbs. The S.U. carb is easy to modify and easy to adjust & balance, making it the preferred choice of techs and enthusiasts alike. Also, with the dual or triple S.U. carb set up, there is no problem complying with current emission control standards.

XKE III:

Similar to the XKE II, the XKE III uses the Stromberg 1 ¾" carb. This medium to poor performer offers little to "rave" about. Although the 5.3L V12 performs very nicely "right out of the box". We offer a S.U. conversion that starts better and performs better. This conversion does require a fair amount of modification, but the end result is well worth the time spent. The S.U. carb does offer the flexibility to modify internal parts for performance, as well as just a more efficient method of carburetion.

 


MK II:

The MK II allows the most flexibility, because we offer many different engine choices, performance options, and carburetion conversions. From the most modest 3 ½ L dual S.U. carbureted automatic transmission model to our currently most popular version, the 4.2L, triple carb, 5 speed, "street cat". We can provide just about any combination to excite even the most conservative driver.

               3 ½L with (2) 1 ¾" S.U. carbs
               3 ½L with (2) 2" S.U. carbs
               3.8L with (2) 1 ¾" S.U. carbs
               3.8L with (2) 2" S.U. carbs
               3.8L with (3) 2" S.U. carbs
               4.2L with (2) 2" carbs
               4.2L with (3) 2" carbs

XK'S:
All of the 3 - ½ L engines are limited to a 2-carb-intake system. The traditional 1 ¾" S.U. carb is a good performer, but we find that a pair of 2" carbs offer the "punch" often required. We can easily fit the 2" carbs and adapt the automatic choke to work or even a hand choke for those who prefer more control. Depending on the engine options that you choose, we can also re-"jet" the carbs to match for optimum performance.
