With every car, we remove the fuel tank, acid dip it to remove all the old rust inside and out, then have it coated inside and out with a process by Dupont called “Renu”.  It’s like putting fuel in “tupperware” – nothing to rust – the normal amount of water/condensation in your fuel will never cause rust problems again to your tank.  Your fuel tank then has a lifetime warranty against rust and failure.
